Numbers to Celebrate: NIET Annual Report

This week, the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching (NIET) released its annual report, highlighting our work with partners across the country, new research on short and long-term impact, and our upcoming book Unleashing Teacher Leadership: A Toolkit for Ensuring Effective Instruction in Every Classroom.  

Here are some statistics that demand the spotlight in this year’s report:

• 11,000 days of support and service were provided to teachers and leaders by our team
• 10,000 aspiring teachers were supported 
• 2,000 educators, stakeholders, and leaders attended NIET conferences
• NIET’s EE PASS website for educators was viewed more than 2 million times
