Why are you passionate about working at NIET?

I'm passionate about working at NIET because it allows me to directly support educators in their efforts to improve student outcomes. By helping schools and districts implement proven strategies for teacher development and instructional leadership, I know that the work we do is making a lasting impact on classrooms across the country. Seeing the growth in teacher effectiveness and student achievement drives my commitment to this mission every day.

What was your favorite subject in school and why?

My favorite subject in school was writing. Some of my favorite memories from my education include attending a young author's conference in elementary school, participating in a creative writing class in high school, and contributing to my university's online magazine through a college course. Writing has always been a way for me to express my ideas and creativity while developing clear, structured thinking. It’s a skill that has shaped how I communicate, organize, and connect with others throughout my life.

What do you do in your free time?

I love spending my free time with friends and family, playing outside with my dog Bear, and cheering on all the sports teams at the University of Alabama. I also enjoy reading, traveling, and finding live music to listen to in Nashville.
