Marquita Jackson joined NIET with 30 years of educational experience. Her work began in Tangipahoa Parish School System as a classroom teacher and further developed into elementary and middle school principal. She also has over ten years of experience at the district level, serving in the positions of elementary and middle school supervisor. Most recently, she served as the Director of Academics. Marquita holds a Bachelor of Arts in elementary education from Southern University and A & M College and a Master’s +30 in Education Administration and Supervision from Southeastern Louisiana University.
