As controller, Matt Connor assists in financial and accounting functions of NIET with the goal of helping the organization meet its mission. He is a certified public accountant with work experience across multiple sectors, and is excited to put his knowledge to work for NIET.

Matt graduated from the University of Illinois with a Bachelor of Arts in accountancy. Teaching runs in his family and he is glad to help support a team striving to educate others.

Why are you passionate about working at NIET?

I value the opportunity to work for an organization with such a noble goal. I look forward to providing support for a team that strives to benefit so many students.

What do you do in your free time?

I love to be physically active, whether it's playing sports or working out. I grew up in a large, competitive family so any chance I get to compete I enjoy.
