2020 NIET Founder's Award Finalist: Duplessis Primary School, Louisiana

Duplessis Primary School in Ascension Public Schools, Louisiana, is selected among five schools nationally as a finalist for the 2020 NIET Founder's Award. The team of teacher and school leaders work together to develop effective strategies and track progress student by student, which has resulted in a strong school culture and significantly improved student performance.

"Knowing that at Duplessis, we are moving children and are being successful each and every year, I would not want to go anywhere else," says Master Teacher Shelley Farmer.
