Perry Township Schools, Indiana, Honored at 2019 NIET National Conference

NIET CEO Dr. Candice McQueen honors Perry Township Schools, Indiana, at the 2019 NIET National Conference for the district's efforts to improve educator effectiveness and student achievement growth. Perry Township is the first to receive NIET's National Award of Excellence for Educator Effectiveness.
"Perry Township is an example to each of us about what is possible when we focus on having an effective teacher in every classroom every day," says Dr. McQueen.
"After implementing NIET's framework, our district is emerging as a leader in educator effectiveness," says Superintendent Mapes. "Each year, our results get better and better. And we have the data to prove it."
